FAQs

Can I jump into any class?

We do encourage everyone to try our studio. If you are new to Pilates, please book a call with Michelle. She will help guide you to know where to best place you in the studio, whether it be a private or a class. It’s always good to start with private lessons for safety and knowledge of a new exercise program before jumping into a group setting.

How do I know which level of class is right for me?

Schedule a phone call with Michelle. She will walk you through the steps of determining which class is right for you. If you’re still uncertain after the call, she always encourages a few privates to make sure you’re comfortable before going into a class setting and inform you the difference between Pilates levels (beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).

What do I wear to Pilates?

We suggest wearing clothing that you wear to workout. We do prefer clothing in which we can see your body (it helps us know if you are aligned for proper body mechanics). You can wear shorts, please wear appropriate undergarments for modesty.

How do I pay?

Spiritus Pilates Studio accepts Credit Card directly on the website or in studio. We also accept check, Zelle and cash.

If I’ve never done Pilates, do I need to do a Private lesson before I take a class?

Michelle strongly encourages you to take three privates in the studio before entering into a class setting. This allows you to understand the method of Pilates a little more and the equipment. In order to allow for this, there is a New Client package available for a one time purchase when you’re new to the studio!

Where do I park?

Please park in the lot on the west side of the building (or facing Taco Bell).
